LAS SHICRAS & PISQUILLO



Duration: Full day.

Itinerary: Lima-Huaral-Palpa-Huaral-Chancay-Aucallama-Lima.

The visit will begin at 7:00 am, they travel 60 km north of Lima. 8:00 am. Breakfast: in the city of Huaral to make our necessary purchases like drinks, snacks, based sandwich pork rinds, typical in Huaral.9:00 am.We will visit  Palpa Village where are the archaeological monuments The Shicras and Pisquillo, recognized as Cultural Heritage of the Nation. The shicras is a Ceremonial Center, belongs to Late Preceramic, dating from 4500 to 4850 years BC contemporary to Caral. Pisquillo is an archaeological complex of Chancay Culture of the Late Intermediate, fourteenth century AD. Today archaeologists are excavating the area with the help of Japanese scientists. It is named "shicra" by the building material, The shicra is a bag of vegetable fiber used to place rocks and construction fill.



1:00 pm. Lunch in the Countryside of Huaral, typical dishes like pork to stick, carapulcra of Huaral, seafood dishes. etc.
2:30 pm In the afternoon we will know Huaral Main Square, Aucallama Main Square and Chancay Main Square  and Shopping for Wine and Pisco in VIVANCO (vitivinicola) and  Municipal Museum Chancay.
5:00 pm Departure to the city of Lima.
